AIM GeoAnalytics provides petrographic analysis for core, core plugs, sidewall cores, cuttings, rock samples, and outcrop material. Petrography documents mineral composition, textures, alteration, deformation, porosity, and the sequence of geological events recorded in the sample.

Petrographic observations can be integrated with XRD, XRF, SEM-EDS, core logs, assays, and field relationships to connect microscale evidence with the larger project interpretation.
