AIM GeoAnalytics develops practical training programs for geologists, technicians, interns, project teams, and other professionals who work with geologic materials and data. Courses can be delivered as classroom instruction, laboratory sessions, core-based workshops, field programs, or blended formats.
Training is built around the client’s objectives, staff experience, geological setting, and available project material. Client core, samples, maps, and case studies can be incorporated when appropriate.

- Core handling, photography, recovery, and geotechnical observations
- Lithologic, alteration, mineralization, vein, and fracture logging
- Mineral and rock identification
- XRD, portable XRF, SEM-EDS, petrography, and analytical method selection
- Field mapping, sampling, and digital data collection
- GIS, drillhole data, and 3D geological modeling
- Data management, QA QC, and technical documentation
- Project specific sedimentology, stratigraphy, and economic geology
Customized Programs
Programs may range from a focused half day session to a staged training plan that develops skills over several months. AIM can also design field trips and core workshops around a specific geologic system or project objective.
